Mission
The B2C Foundation is an advocacy organization whose primary goal is to
educate and empower historically disadvantaged
people groups so that they may be active participants in the new modern day gold rush created by the advent of cryptocurrency and its emerging digital currency economy and related blockchain technologies.
- B2C will promote Bitcoin as the leading digital currency to be used by our members so that they may benefit from reduced transaction fees, access to global currency networks and enhanced personal savings vehicles.
- B2C will build and promote a network of users and advocates across neighborhoods, civic organizations, nonprofits, community based organizations, business and will develop various initiatives to promote adoption and support of Bitcoin and other emerging currencies.
Rights
The Foundation has adopted the Financial bill of rights developed by the Bitcoin Foundation
- The right to privacy in transactions that involve no harm to others;
- The right to keep your savings, or spend your money, anywhere in the world;
- The right to economic participation with or without a bank account;
- The right to economic participation with or without a credit history;
- The right to convert fiat currency into bitcoin and vice versa;
- The right to use bitcoin as a medium of exchange;
- The right to use bitcoin as a store of value.
